ORANGE tincture

Orange tincture is easy and quick to prepare. The general availability of the fruit makes, that we can do it at any time of the year.

Recipe 1

Ingredients:
2 big oranges
1and alcohol 70 %
250g of sugar
250ml of water

Execution:

Wash the oranges thoroughly, peel the skin without white flesh and put it in the jar.

Peel one orange from the white flesh, cut into slices and put in a jar, pour alcohol over it and leave for 7 Days.

Add the squeezed juice of the second orange.

Prepare a syrup of sugar and water and then combine it with the infusion. Filter everything and pour into bottles.

After a month of aging, the tincture is ready for tasting.

 

Recipe 2

SWEET ORANGE tincture

4 Oranges, 1/2 l of spirit, 1 l of vodka 40 °, 50 dkg sugar, 0,3 g of citric acid, 1/4 l of water

Wash 4 Oranges, trim the outer skin as thinly as possible (without affecting the white layer, which is bitter). Cut the skin into small strips, toss it into a gander with vodka, set aside in a warm place on 3 Day.

Remove the white peel from the orange, squeeze out the juice, add water to ¼ liter, heat to 50-60 ° C, pour sugar, heat while stirring until boiling. Take off the foam, which will form on the surface, add citric acid, cook still through 10 Minutes (overall cooking time should not exceed 30 Minutes). Pour the syrup prepared in this way into a two-liter vessel and, without waiting for it to cool down, add the spirit., and then vodka, which the skins were flooded. Set aside for 48 hours. Filter the finished tincture through gauze into half-liter bottles, cork and seal, and stick cards with the name of the tincture and the date of bottling on the bottles.

Store the bottles in a dark and cool place for at least six months. The tincture can be served with black coffee.

 

Recipe 3

ORANGE DRY tincture

3 Oranges, 1 l vodka 45°, 0,2 l spirits, 0,1 l of water, 10 dkg sugar

Wash 3 Oranges, trim the outer skin as thinly as possible (without affecting the white layer, which is bitter). Cut the skins into small strips, toss it into a gander with vodka, add the juice of the muslin 3 peeled oranges, pour in the spirit, set aside in a warm place on 2 Day. Dilute the syrup made from water and sugar (before it cools down) 0,1 liter of tincture filtered through gauze. Vodka, which the orange peels were poured through, filter through a filter paper into a vessel with syrup, mix shaking, set aside for 24 Hours.

The tincture can be given immediately after cooking, however, storage in a dark and cool place has a positive effect on its quality.
