How to make sloe tincture

Sloe fruit tincture is not a popular alcohol, but because of its unusual taste and interesting aroma, it's worth a try. It tastes best prepared by yourself at home.
About two kilograms of ripe sloe plums harvested in autumn are frozen for a few days in the freezer. Then pour them into a large jar and pour this amount of spirit, to cover the fruit.
After about three months we pour the spirit. With 0,3 liter of water, 50 dag of sugar, four cloves and one vanilla stick cook the syrup. Boil the water so that the sugar dissolves well. Pour the remaining fruits after the spirit with the prepared syrup.
After a month, pour the syrup and combine with the first poured spirit. Mix and filter. Pour into bottles and leave for about half a year in a dark place.
The finished tincture has a red color. Delicious taste and very aromatic smell receives only after a few years of aging, but for tasting it is suitable after half a year. It is best to give it at a temperature of about 15 degrees Celsius.
