Cocktails – Cocktail

Cocktail (Pronounced. cocktail) is a mixture of different types of alcoholic beverages. The cocktail usually consists of fruit juice, wine and liqueur. Special vessels called mixers are used to prepare cocktails; ice is placed in one part of the mixer, and in the second, cocktail ingredients. Under the influence of vigorous shaking the mixer, the ingredients are lasered and the drink is cooled down properly (+ 10° C). In the absence of a mixer, the ingredients can be mixed in a tightly closed bottle, and ready cocktail cool in the refrigerator or directly on the ice. Soda water is added to the cocktail cooled, so as not to cause an increase in the temperature of the drink.

Cocktails are served in special glasses, so-called. cocktail, i.e.. on a high leg with an expanding calyx, Capacity 50 or 100 g, and cobblers — in cups. A straw is served with the cocktail. If the cocktail includes fruit, give a teaspoon of black coffee.

Grapefruit COCKTAIL

50 g vodka 40°, 1/4 grapefruit, 25 g of soda water

Squeeze the grapefruit juice, pour into vodka, mix very thoroughly, cool. Half fill the glass of capacity 100 g, then top up with ice soda. Stir in a glass with a glass stick.

 

ORANGE COCKTAIL AND

12 g Dry Vermouth (read Wermut), 12 g vodka 40°, 1/3 Orange

Squeeze orange juice, combine with wine and vodka, mix thoroughly, cool.

 

COCKTAIL "TELIMENA”
50 juniper g, 25 g of soda water, ½ lemon

Squeeze lemon juice, mix with vodka and soda. Cocktail serve chilled.

 

PINEAPPLE COCKTAIL I

40 g rum, 15 g lemon juice, 45 g pineapple juice (from a can)

Squeeze lemon juice, mix thoroughly with pineapple juice and rum, cool. Serve high, slender glasses or glasses.

 

COCKTAIL ANANASOWY II

10 g cognac, 30 g of grape wine, 20 g pineapple juice, 1/3 pineapple slice (from a can), 10—15 g of soda water

Mix the cognac thoroughly with the wine and pineapple juice, cool. Dice a piece of pineapple slice and place in a cocktail glass. Before serving, pour the soda ice water into the cocktail, stir.

 

COCKTAIL FROM SOUTHERN FRUIT

30 g of original rum, 15 g of Curacao-Orange liqueur, 20 g of soda water, 1/5 Lemon, 1,5 grapefruit, ½ a slice of orange

Mix the squeezed lemon juice and grapefruit with rum and liqueur, cool. Peel the orange, cut into slices, Arrange the halved slices in a cup. Before serving, pour the soda ice water into the cocktail, stir.
