How to make spirits?
In most recipes vodka, which is to be used to make tinctures, is made of spirit. There, however,, where in the recipe there is "vodka"”, then ordinary vodka can be used, having 45%, bought in store. How to prepare a good vodka from spirit with the necessary power?
Here are two methods.
Method one:
To get vodka with power 70 percentage, belongs to 1 liter of spirit add 0,89 a liter of boiled and cooled water.
65% vodka will be created by mixing 1 liter of spirit from 0,5 liter of water.
And accordingly:
60 percentage – 0,63 liter of water,
55 percentage – 0,78 liter of water,
50 percentage – 0,96 liter of water,
45 percentage – 1 ,18 liter of water,
40 percentage – 1,44 liter of water,
35 percentage – 1,79 liter of water,
30 percent-2.24 liters of water.
Second method:
It assumes the use of spirit and combining it with water, taking the following proportions (in milliliters):
POWER – SPIRIT – WATER (in milliliters)
35% – 368 – 658
40% – 421 – 608
45% – 474 – 557
50% – 526 – 505
60% – 631 – 400
70% – 736 – 291
80% – 842 – 178
90% – 948 – 62
