Cumin is a very aromatic alcohol, in addition, it has warming properties. It is perfect for winter evenings, tastes best prepared by yourself at home.
Peel of one orange and one lemon finely grate. We add to them 15 dag cumin, 25 gram fennel seeds, 15 gram of coriander seeds and 10 a gram of anise seeds and pour half a liter of vodka. We put it off for two months, stirring with a bottle every few days, so that the seeds give their taste well to alcohol.
After two months 50 milliliters of water with the addition of 10 dag of sugar boil and add to the tincture. It is important that the sugar dissolves well. Leave the tincture for the next month, stirring with a bottle from time to time.
After a month we filter the alcohol and pour it into bottles. The finished tincture contains approximately 40 alcohol percentage. It has a slightly spicy taste and a perceptible cumin aroma. Tastes best chilled to temperature 0 degrees Celsius. It is also added to various drinks. Alone, it is usually given as an aperitif before a meal.
