Hawthorn tincture

TINTAGE OF HUNGRY

Autumn is a great time to prepare a delicious one, medicinal hawthorn tincture. It has numerous health properties, mainly helps to maintain the proper functioning of the circulatory system. Tincture of hawthorn fruit is easy and quick to prepare. It will be a real treasure in our home medicine cabinet.

Ingredients:
1 kg of hawthorn fruit
1 l spirits 70 %
30 dag of sugar
400 ml of water
2 cm cinnamon bark

Execution:
The fruits of the hawthorn should be rinsed thoroughly, remove the stalks and spoiled fruit, and when it is dry, leave it in the freezer for 24 Hours. Then pour the hawthorn into a jar, add cinnamon and pour alcohol over it.

We leave tightly closed on 4 Weeks, remembering to shake the jar from time to time. After a month, we decant the alcohol, and prepare a syrup from water and sugar. Pour the pouring slowly into the cooled syrup, stirring all the time.

Ready hawthorn tincture poured into bottles should stand in a dark and cool place at least 3 Months.
