A tincture of chokeberry

Aronia tincture is one of the most popular liqueurs we make. It has a great flavor and is delicate, fruity aroma. Aronia fruits cleanse the body of toxins and lower blood pressure. Aronie is harvested in late summer and fall. Due to the high vitamin content, minerals and trace elements, Aronia tincture should be in every home medicine cabinet.

Recipe 1

Ingredients:
1,5 kg of chokeberry fruit
0,5 kg of sugar
vanilla stick
a piece of ginger
1,5 l spirits 60 %

Execution:
We start with the preparation of the fruit. Wash the chokeberry, dry and thoroughly remove the stalks and petioles. Then leave them in the freezer for 2 Days.

Place in a large jar, add sugar, vanilla pod, ginger and then pour alcohol over it. Set aside in a warm place on 4 Weeks.

Filter through quadruple gauze(squeeze the fruit), and then through the coffee filter. Pour the ready-made chokeberry tincture into bottles and leave it in a cool place 6 Months.

Recipe 2

Aronia tincture

Ingredients:
1,5kg of chokeberry fruit
0,5kg of sugar
1l spirits 60%

Execution:

As in the first recipe, wash and peel the fruit, then leave in the freezer for 48 hours. Pour the chokeberry into a large jar and pour the alcohol. We leave it in the dark, warm place on 4 Weeks.

After this time, pour the pour into a separate vessel, and sprinkle the fruit with sugar. We are waiting for approx 2 Weeks, until the sugar dissolves(shake the dish once a day).

Strain the syrup through gauze and combine with alcohol. We still pass the whole thing through a coffee filter and pour it into bottles.

Aronia tincture must stand in a dark cool place on 6 Months.
